Guidelines for Virtual Seminar Proposals

The Virtual Seminars section houses electronic seminars on early modern literature with each seminar led by its own moderator. Interactive EMLS will accept proposals for both formal seminars and informal discussion forums.

To help us to evaluate the seminar proposal, please ensure that your submission includes the following information:

• moderator's name and institution,
• the moderator's e-mail address,
• the title of the virtual seminar,
• a detailed course description,
• a list of primary and secondary reading materials,
• any restrictions on the number or qualifiations of the participants, and
• the period that the seminar will be offered.

If you are interested in establishing a discussion forum, please include the following information:

• moderator's name and institution,
• the moderator's e-mail address,
• the subject of the discussion forum,
• any restrictions on the number or qualifiations of the participants, and
• the period that the forum will be active.

Proposals can be sent by email to: Managing Editor of iEMLS at Interactive_EMLS@arts.ubc.ca.

All proposals to the Virtual Seminars section will be vetted by members of the Senior Editorial and Advisory Board of Early Modern Literary Studies. Acceptance of any seminar or discussion forum will be sent to the moderator by email.
