ANNOUNCEMENT STUDIES IN RENAISSANCE CULTURE Series Editor: Luciano Floridi CALL FOR TEXTS
Dear Colleague,
This is an informal note about a new series that is going to be published by E. J. Brill (Leiden, The Netherlands) under my editorial advice.
The series will provide a new multidisciplinary space to studies concerning Renaissance culture. No particular limit has been drawn with respect to the type of texts that may be included in it. Though I expect most of them will be monographs, I look forward to considering collections of essays, translations, new editions of classics, bibliographies, proceedings of conferences, reference works or editions of primary texts. Topics covered by the series will belong to all aspects of Humanist and Renaissance culture, including art, economics, history, literature, law, music, philosophy, religion and science. Usually, the language of will be English.
Two volumes already scheduled for publication are: Cynthia M. Pyle, Research Techniques in Medieval, Renaissance and Early Modern Studies: a Handbook based on the course and written in collaboration with Paul Oskar Kristeller. History and Philosophy of Mathematics in the Renaissance, edited by Luciano Floridi.
