Eighth Annual Interdisciplinary Symposium

Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Studies

February 18-20, 1999

 

Proposals are invited on any aspect of memory in the Medieval and early modern periods. Possible topics include, but are not limited to: historical memory; memorialization and monuments; memoirs; memoria in allegory, philosophy, education; memory and forgetfulness; psychological or medical views of memory. Papers bridging different periods and disciplines are especially welcome.

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: 31 October 1998. Papers should be in English and have a maximum reading time of 20 minutes.
