PLENARY SPEAKERS: Annabel Patterson, Elaine Hobby, Nigel Smith and William Lamont.

Proposals are invited for short (25-30 minute) papers on Bunyan's life, thought and work, on nonconformity in the Restoration period, and on the politics, religion and literature of the Puritan and radical traditions of seventeenth-century England.

Proposals, each accompanied by a 250-word synopsis and a covering letter identifying the proposer, should be sent by 31 MARCH 1998 to
