3rd Annual Edward de Vere Studies Conference

The English Department of Concordia University invites papers of approximately 30 minutes' reading length for consideration for presentation at the 3rd Annual Edward de Vere Studies Conference at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, from April 8-11, 1999.
The theme of the Conference is "Discovering Shakespeare"; papers which contribute to the advancement of scholarship pointing to the possibility of the authorship of the Shakespeare canon by Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford, are especially welcome.
Papers or abstracts, accompanied by a short CV, may be submitted before 22 January 1999.
The Keynote Address at this Conference will be delivered by Dr. Felicia Londre, Curators' Professor of Theatre at the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
